Find “Account status” and then select “Cancel my account”. Keep in mind, to clean any unpaid balance first otherwise, it won’t let u close the account. 2. Settings time: Click on the handy ‘Tools & Settings’ icon at the top of the page. It’s the one that looks like a little wrench – a plumber’s best friend.
3. Preferences: Under the ‘Setup’ section, there’s a lovely little option called ‘Preferences’. Click on that, it won’t bite.
4. Account Status: You’ll see the current status of your account. Feel a pang of sadness knowing that soon it’s going to show “Cancelled”.
5. Select Cancel: You’re gonna need to click on that ‘Cancel: my Google Ads account’. Don’t look back. It’s like ripping off a Band-Aid.
6. Acceptance: It’s giving you one last chance. You’ll see a scary ‘Account Cancellation’ section, click ‘Cancel: my Google Ads account’ to finalize your decision. Deep breaths. Life goes on, buddy.
7. Goodbyes: You’ll get a lovely farewell email from Google, it’s like breaking up with an ex you still have to see in class every day.
