To see hidden accounts in Google Ads, you need to follow theses steps:
1. Sign into your Google Ads manager account.
2. On page menu, click on “Account”.
3. Then click on “Performance”.
4. You will find a chart, there is a drop-down menu at top of it.
5. Click it and choose “All” instead “All but removed”.
This way all hidden accounts should be visible for you.
To view hidden accounts in Google Ads, you need to follow these steps:
1. Sign in to your Google Ads manager account.
2. Click the tool icon in the upper right corner of your account.
3. Under ‘Setup’, click on “Account access”.
4. In the “Clients” tab, look for the account you’re interested in.
5. If the account is hidden, you should see a note stating that this account is hidden.
6. To unhide this account, click on the three dot menu, and select ‘Unhide’.
While the above process might seem straightforward, I must add that from a privacy and ethical standpoint, it’s crucial to respect the decision of someone who has perhaps hidden their account for a reason. As a general rule, it’s important to respect others’ privacy when dealing with accounts, especially in a professional setting.
Furthermore, it’s worth noting that as of May 2021, Google has deprecated the feature to hide/unhide accounts in Google Ads. Therefore, if an account was hidden before this change, it would remain hidden and one wouldn’t be able to unhide it.
For the future, as Google suggests, one should remove access to their account rather than hiding it if they don’t want it to be visible under another manager account. This invigorates the idea of the critical role privacy plays in the digital marketing world. It’s perhaps more important ever in today’s increasingly digital world. So, it’s necessary to use these tools responsibly.
